Permanent Hair Removal
For hair removal, we will mark the areas to be treated and then trim your hair prior to treatment. You may smell some hair burning during treatment.
After Treatment Care
You should avoid sun exposure for treated areas for a few days after treatment. You should not use a depilatory (wax or cream). tweezers, or tanning creams for 2 weeks after treatment.
Most people experience a mild sunburn-like feeling in the treated area. This feeling will usually disappear after 2 to 3 hours after treatment. You can alleviate this feeling by applying a cool compress to the treated area. In some extreme cases, you will experience slight blisters that appear on the face for 2 to 3 days or up to 7 days on the body.
You should gently cleanse the treated areas with water and a neutral soap at least twice a day following your treatment.
Side Effects
There are no reported serious effects. The most common side effect is hyper pigmentation which should disappear within 6 months without treatment.
Electrolysis
Electrolysis treats each individual hair to permanently remove it. Electrolysis has been around for over a hundred years and it is the only method show to permanently remove hair. Your electrologist will work with you to develop a hair removal schedule to achieve a hair-free you.

Permanent Hair Reduction
Phototherapy hair removal uses a combination of light and thermal energies to treat hair follicles. This treatment results in a long term hair removal or hair reduction. Many people use this method to quickly reduce hair in an area and then use electrolysis to remove the remaining stubborn hairs.
Using a dual energy source, we will apply thermal and light energies to treat the hair follicle. This results in long term hair reduction. Treatments are determined by the area that is treated.
Body Areas - 5-10 visits may be necessary for optimal results. Visits are scheduled 6 to 8 weeks apart.
Face - Typically 5 to 10 visits may be necessary, however, in some case, biweekly visits may be necessary for the first 3 months on areas that are tweezed frequently.
